How I Got 12-Packs of Coke for $.99 ea.

September 4, 2010

I wanted to share with you a little couponing secret that I use all the time and maybe some of you hadn’t thought of. I always look at all the grocery ads and clip all the MANUFACTURER coupons I find from each one. Then I look at all the ads and see if I can get a good deal using them at another store!

For example, this week the Cardenas ad had a $4.00 MC off 4 12-packs of coke. At Albertsons this week they have coke on sale for $1.99 ea. if you buy 4, so this is what I did:

Buy 4 Coke (12-Packs): $1.99 ea.
Use $4.00 Cardena’s In-Ad Coke Coupon (this was a MANUFACTURER Coupon)
Final Price: $.99 ea.

Hot deal huh? So my point is to show you (if you didn’t already know) how to pull off these little behind the scene saving tricks. It’s a great way to maximize your dollar without having to go searching very far for coupons!

That’s my little tip for today! Hope you are having a great weekend!

If I could find 12 packs of Coke for $1.99 I would already think I’d hit the jackpot, I realize this is an old post but only about one year. In upper NYS I find coke 12 packs for about $4.50. Thank you so much for your great tidbits though, I love reading your site and finding the great deals!

Hi Erica,

Great question! No, the coupons I am speaking of are strictly manufacturers coupons (like you would get from the Sunday newspaper). They don’t have the store logo on them either. I know what you mean about having difficulty using coupons with other store logos on them, I have had the same problem. I try to avoid it if I can ;)

Have a wonderful day!

I have always been halted in attempts to use a manufacturer coupon with another store’s logo on it. So I’ve just quit trying. These coupons you speak of, do they have the logo, of the store’s ad you clipped it from, on it?

Thanks for sharing!
