
Lawry’s Giveaway!
How many of you love warm Summer nights like me? I have this little list I call my “Top Ten” and basicallly it is the top ten things that make me the most happy…you know, the feeling you get when you are are all warm and bubbly inside? Well, I won’t bore you with my other 9 things, but warm Summer nights is one of them, so anything that will get me outside during those beautiful nights, I’m in!! So when Lawry’s through My Blog Spark asked me to participate in tasting their new Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato and Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ marinades, I was all for it!!
My favorite was the Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato!! It is made with extra virgin olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes, sweet red bell peppers and the perfect blend of herbs. I marinated boneless chicken breasts pieces and then made chicken kabobs with green bell pepper and pineapple chunks! We added a little BBQ corn on the side, and it was a hit in my household (even with my three and six-year-old). Can you believe that?!?! I just about jumped up and down when they BOTH said they loved it! My family also likes chicken cooked in Italian dressing.I put the chicken in a pan and pour the dressing over it then put it in the fridge for a few hours.Then I put the whole thing in the oven and let it cook. This way it really soaks up the flavors.I then serve it over rice or with mashed potatoes.

That sounds so yummy! I am going to have to try that! Have you ever used the zesty italian dressing? I’m just wondering because I already have a bottle of that here at home!
