When I sit back and think about little old me who just started this site to share my frugal finds with my friends and family, I am astonished, honored, amazed, grateful, and so very touched (yes, all at the same time) to have been given so many wonderful opportunities and chances to meet some amazing people!
Vons Pavilions invited me to take part in their
“No-Cook” Cook-off Challenge on September 30, 2009!

I was one of 10 moms given 10 min. and $25.00 to shop for ingredients for my no-cook meal and 25 min. to prepare my meal! It was a lot of fun…definitely one of my first times running with a grocery cart through a store!
I made a new friend that day, Kerri from Save at Home Mommy! She is such a sweet person and a lot of fun to be around. It was nice to meet one of my fellow bloggers face-to-face.
