Another thing people are doing unethical is buying something with a high value coupon at one store, then taking it back to Walmart and getting cash back for it, more than the amount they paid since they used a coupon when they paid. This is unethical and I was recently at my local Walmart and they are limiting the number of returns you can make now without receipts. Sometimes you don't have receipts for gifts, but if too many people are unethical soon we will not be able to return things at all.

Whenever I need to make a return for an item that I used a coupon for, I will mention that I used a coupon, so the store can choose whether to reduce the amount that I receive by the coupon amount. I do not return an item just to make money, and I try my hardest not to make returns...I usually only do it if I did not purchase the correct item for an Extra Care Buck deal or SCR at Rite Aid.

Good post! I agree that you SHOULD NOT return an item that you used a coupon to purchase in an effort to make money off that item. This is unethical!

Just a thought though, if someone returns an item, and a coupon was used for that item, then the coupon should be returned to the purchaser. If not, the store will redeem that coupon hence making money off of an item that they still have in their inventory?????
